Peppers Creek wrap-up for 2024

Phew! Where did the last 12 months go? This year has flown by so quickly for everyone here at Peppers Creek Barrel Room and Chapel, which is why we’re allotting some time today to quietly reflect on the many highlights and meaningful moments of 2024.

Infinite gratitude to our powerhouse team, and a big, big thank you to the lovely couples and equally lovely wedding vendors we had the privilege of working with. Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday season x


Exciting new introductions and impactful changes

  • Co-owners Jade and Pete visited a handful of STUNNING venues dotted along the Mediterranean coastline in July, inspired to bring the most authentic Tuscan look and feel to our beloved venue. Stay tuned for an epic vision board!

  • Our Tasting Nights are now Tasting Lunches and happen just twice annually. We’ve experienced huge success with the latter, making these pivotal pre-wedding events much more accessible for our destination couples.

  • Want to ensure your littlest (and often most fickle!) wedding guests are entertained on your special day? Our inclusive and forward-thinking wedding coordinators at Peppers Creek can promise you just that, implementing a handful of kid-friendly measures in 2024. Interactive lawn games? Check. A designated and cosy activity corner with colouring books and puzzles? Check. Yummy, easy-to-eat snacks post-reception? Check!

  • With the help of Wedding Road, we launched a virtual tour of the venue on our website. It’s user-friendly and begins with a 3D look inside the barrel room, seamlessly moving to the sandstone chapel with the click of a button. Perfect for interstate couples and others that can’t realistically manage an in-person site visit.

  • The effortlessly cool and in-the-know editrixes at Hello May named Peppers Creel Barrel Room and Chapel one of the country’s 14 best vineyard venues in their October issue. Thrilled is an understatement.

  • Peppers Creek Barrel Room and Chapel was chosen as the backdrop for a moody romance-meets-opulence editorial shot by the legendary creatives at Aura Weddings. We’re still fawning over the beautiful photos!

Upcoming projects and key dates

  • We’re teaming up with 50 other local wedding vendors to bring you the inaugural Hunter Valley ‘Say I Do’ - a full-day event created to showcase all that this region has to offer and help couples visualise their own dreamy wine country ‘I dos’. Sunday 19th January, 2025. Details and registration via this link. See you there!

  • More micro weddings, more Pash and Dash intimate elopements, more culinary innovations led by our Michelin-star experienced Head Chef, and more collaborations with the expert sommeliers at Stay n Sip. More of everything that gives our venue a big reputation and an even bigger heart.
